Terms of service.

Fees:
I will agree a fee with you per project or based on the bespoke content package we have agreed for your business.
The fee won’t change unless the project scope changes significantly and includes:
*Research
*Writing the first draft/or providing the ongoing content
*One round of revisions
*Final proofread
My fee does not include meetings with designers, web developers or any other agencies, unless we have agreed this as part of the project brief.
I am not registered for VAT.

What I need from you:

Before starting work on your project, I’ll need you to email me confirmation of your acceptance of my fee, the agreed deadline(s) and the project brief we will have created together. I will also require a 50% deposit.

I’m also more than happy to work with a team - freelance life can get lonely! - but please provide me with a single contact person who has decision-making and approval authority.

If there are any changes to the project scope:

A change in project scope may require more of my time, whether researching or rewriting. I therefore reserve the right to review my project fee, if the project changes substantially.

Payment terms:

As stated, 50% of my fee is due in advance and the final 50% within 14 days of agreed completion. If final payment is not made, I will send a friendly reminder. If my invoice remains unpaid, I will pursue recovery through a debt collection service, including any additional costs incurred as a result of doing this.

If you cancel the project after work has started, I will charge you for the work that I have already done.

Retainer-Based Work:
A monthly retainer fee will be charged in advance.
Additional fees may apply for work outside the scope of the retainer or for urgent requests.
The retainer agreement can be terminated with a 14 days' notice.
Upon termination, the client will be billed for any outstanding work completed but not yet invoiced.

Copyright and Liability:
Copyright of all work remains with Sarah Christopher until full payment is received. Upon full payment, copyright transfers to you.
Sarah Christopher is not liable for any issues, claims, costs, or expenses arising from the work completed at your request.
Sarah Christopher will take every precaution to avoid errors, omissions, misrepresentations and other inaccuracies. However, the final responsibility for published material belongs with you, the client.

Our contract will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. By doing business with me, you accept these Terms & Conditions.
